Description
Veterinary Good Clinical Practice (vGCP) training is a prerequisite for anyone involved in veterinary research or research on animals.
Based upon the Veterinary International Cooperation on Harmonization of Technical Requirements for Registration of Veterinary Medicinal Products (vICH) Good Clinical Practice Guidance released June 2000 (GL9) which is the most recent version as of February 2019.
This self guided eLearning course explores the role of Good Clinical Practice in veterinary research, touching on such topics as:
– Principles of Good Clinical Practice
– Veterinary Investigator Responsibilities
– Sponsor Responsibilities
– Study Monitoring
– Clinical Study Protocols
– Reporting Requirements
– Study Documentation
This course takes approximately 1 hour to complete.
Upon completion, the student will receive a certificate of training. This should be retained for evidence of training in quality systems and for research sponsors.
